Christmas Resolutions + Plans for the New Year

So there has been a ton of additions to the hosting service that I'm now figuring out. Chief of which is a new Image Gallery upgrade that looks a lot better than what was available months ago. I'm uploading pics into separate galleries that will soon be available.


Yes, this means I'm seriously adding to the site now, and I found a way around the 20 page limit. Now there's a MB limit of storage that I'm eyeing closely until I can scrounge up the cash to buy a year-long subscription. I've been taking paid surveys by the boatload for the past month and a half saving just for this upgrade that will include my own domain name! Salahare.com... that's my dream.


I'm also looking forward to finding out if my friends and I really got a table at AnimeLand Wasabi 2009. I'm going into gear figuring out what of my old stuff will make successful prints to sell, and getting the word out to other Wasabi goers that I'll be there selling art, table or no. ^_^

So I'm adding new pages (you can't see them yet) and moving stuff around... messing with the CSS to see if I can get this all to look the way I want. Learning this is hard business when you don't have someone over your shoulder telling you what the heck you're doing wrong.

I'm trying to put up more 2008 stuff by the end of the weekend. Keep your eyes open for the new pics to pop up in the gallery.

I'm having issues with the orginization of the gallery, by the way. Should I keep it by year, or should I give up and just divide them by subject, then medium? You know, like "Dragons" or "Gaia" or "Portraits" and stuff like that. I think I'll try it out and see how it goes.

Nevermind. The site won't let me update unless I pay more more bandwidth. I have a free account, so they only let me have 20 pages! ARRRGGH!

Starting some animation stuff!

I know I haven't  updated in forever, so let me just get down to the chase, no?

Ok, so I've been busy and lazy. Busy working at school, and lazy to upload anything I'm doing.

BUT! I put up an awesome little animation on my Deviant Art account, so go over and take a looksies, ok?

I also changed emails. Instead of salahare@msn.com, I'm now salahare@gmail.com. Email me there if you want to talk to me.

So from now on I'm promising to blog more often about what's going on and stuff... just for some activity. Maybe if I visit the site enough I'll come around to actually putting up more content...

Things are starting to look up again!

I recently came back into contact with the Grumpy Dragon. Now, I'm finishing up what I've got left to do and will hopefully have the contract completed by mid-August. If not, I'll personally commit seppuku in shame... not really, but I'll feel horrible.

Now that I have that out, I also have requests that I'm actually getting done. I'm so excited. And the HTML books I'm pouring over are starting to make sense, except...

Freewebs doesn't allow any customization other than CSS. It sucks. If I want to actually have my own design for a site I have to go to another hosting site like Yahoo or, (shudder) Google. Either way, I'll figure out something. If I do end up switching I'll make sure to leave a link.

Anyway, I'll sign off for now!
